Movie Collection- April 2014

Whoa... I did it... sort of.

Okay, now that I've got a PROPER camera, I can take better pictures... though it's obvious my artistic skill was NOT invested in photography... or lighting... though I AM trying to get better shots for you guys. Though I'm glad the DVDs came out clear ENOUGH to be recognizable.

Anyway, I'll try to turn this into a monthly thing, just to show you guys what movies I have for every month, and see what could make interesting content for either Everyone's a Critic or the Miniviews.

I DID get some DVDs that have made me curious to give them some full reviews. Here are some observations about the ones that I'm most interested in:

- The Cabin in the Woods: My FAVORITE movie from 2012. I adore it so much, I just want to talk about it... then again, it would be a spoiler-heavy review.

- Chicken Little: though not on its own, I'd rather pit it against ANOTHER film with a chicken as its protagonist, Chicken Run, which was, sadly, not in stock.

- Crash: definitely an INTERESTING film... though, I'll be honest; the name alone got me interested.

- Delgo: If review this, I'll NEED a co-host. This movie is just too painful for one person.

- Foodfight!: ... ditto for this one.

- Heaven's Gate: This movie has been on my hitlist for quite some time. Why have I not gotten around to reviewing it, yet? Because it's THREE HOURS LONG!

- Lawrence of Arabia: Oh... this movie is three hours long, too. The difference? Lawrence of Arabia is actually GOOD.

- Ren and Stimpy: Adult Party Cartoon: Son of a bitch... you have NO idea how hard this DVD was to find. It shouldn't take TOO long, since the series is only 7 episodes long... but good GOD some episodes... there are just some things a human being should NEVER have to sit through.

- Space Jam: I'll definitely need a co-host for this one- not because it's awful... just idiotic.

- Warrior: One of THE most underrated films out there- I want to give this film a little push.

And... those are my scattered observations. Do you see any films you love? Any films you hate?

Also, yes- I AM trying to get as many animated films as I can. Definitely all of the Disney (If Chicken Little and Home on the Range weren't clue enough), Pixar (Yes, even Brave and... ugh... Cars 2), Dreamowrks, Blue Sky (Except for Epic, 'cuz that film is just WORTHLESS), and Illumnation (By which I mean... Despicable Me 2 and NOTHING ELSE).

I will even PURPOSELY buy BAD animated films, if they have something INTERESTING about them, or if they're interestingly-awful; hence why I have Delgo and Foodfight! So, again don't be surprised if you don't see a film like... I don't know... Epic, on here, 'cause I find it a boring stew of cliches.
